Dev Log #2


Anthony, Producer, Lead Design, Audio Design

This week I worked on more music for the game as well as other sound design including ship sounds, weapon sounds, environment sounds and other effects. I also worked on adding controller support to the game through Game Maker. Other things I am working on include researching exporting the game in HTML5, A website to go along with that. As well as working with an animator to create an opening scene for the trailer for the game. I have also worked on recruiting more team members for art assets.

This past week I have continued working on the toad boss and things similar. Using photoshop I was able to make a new sprite sheet of the toads attack, this will eventually be paired with another sheet of his tongue and acid attack. I also made an updated toad boss ship with an animated cover so that it can be used as a defense and an updated toad minion ship, with a tadpole moving inside. I have several background concepts in the works that be will up in our game shortly.

*Updated* Goals for next three weeks (4/11 - 4/25):

-QA testing, bug report due 4/18

-Continue work on sprites and backgrounds

-Work on tile sets

-Add tutorial level

-Continue work on Toad King boss battle

-Export Game in HTML5 (Kacper)

-Complete final Alpha Build due 4/25
