I continued work on sound effects and music for the game. I finished a new song track for the game. We implemented some sound effect placeholders as well as the background music. Controller support was worked on. The project was exported in HTML5 to play in a browser, but ran into some issues with the camera coding. A new opening tutorial level was added at the beginning of the game. The stars background was implemented in the tutorial and main level. As well as a new bounce mechanic to the mushrooms in the current main room.

This week I completed more sprite sheets for the toad boss, this included the acid and tongue attack. The last sprites needed will be the toad exploding which will be worked on for next week. I’m also wrapping up the swamp background and plan to have the polished final version done for next week as well.

-Continue work on sprites and backgrounds

-Complete final Alpha Build due 4/25

-Add Splash (start) Screen
-Pixel-ize Banana Sprite (Liz)
-Add transition
-Possibly work on near death mechanic
-Possibly block out new level
-Possibly add simple boss room
